Rachel can read relative-efficiency-correted gamma-ray yield data to pass to Gosia from Radware AGS ascii level scheme files (one file per gamma-ray detector), or from human-readable Rachel format yield files (also one file per gamma-ray detector).

The file format is most easily understood using an example:

Note the following requirements for Rachel gamma-ray yield data (in any file format):

When using Rachel, all data must be efficiency-corrected for the 'relative' efficiency of the individual germanium detector (or cluster).
